Heb. 6:9-12; Mk. 7:31-37
“Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God” [1Cor. 15:50]. Therefore, to enter the Kingdom we have to as if lose flesh and blood ─ that is, establish such a way of life in which they play no significant role. That can be done by a complete rejection of flesh and blood as motives of our behavior.
“The works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like”; having said that, St. Paul adds: “I tell you, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God” [Gal. 5:19-21]. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
