On June 22, participants of Russian-speaking youth organizations in Melbourne (Australia) held an action "Candle of Memory", which was timed to coincide with the 83rd anniversary of the outbreak of the Great Patriotic War.
The rector of the parish, Archpriest Igor Filyanovsky, priest Leonid Mikheychik and deacon Vyacheslav Raikunov served a memorial service for all the deceased defenders of the Fatherland and those who suffered during the war years.
After that, almost 700 candles were lit in memory of all those who gave their lives in the name of the Great Victory.
