The rector of the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross of the Egvekinot city district, Priest Vladimir Kozak, consecrated new school buses on October 29.
The priest performed a prayer service for the Lord to protect the lives of passengers, sprinkled holy water on every bus inside and outside.
"Buses are characterized by increased cross-country traffic. They have special double-glazed windows and additional stoves. I am very glad that the management of the motor transport company attaches importance to the help of God, may the Lord protect all our children on the way and protect them from the harsh hardships of the Chukotka land," Father Vladimir commented on the event to the press service of the diocese.
