On the evening of September 4, 2025, a gala evening dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the great consecration of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior and the 15th anniversary of the Temple Construction Program in Moscow took place in the Cathedral Hall of Christ the Savior in Moscow. The evening was organized with the support of the Moscow City Government.
His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia attended the festive event. 
Before the concert, the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church visited an exhibition dedicated to commemorations in the foyer of the Cathedral Hall. The exhibition features stands telling about the implementation of the Temple Construction Program in the capital, and models of temples with their descriptions. 
Before the concert, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill addressed the audience with a welcoming speech, in which, in particular, he noted: "I am glad to welcome you, gathered in a wonderful place, in the solemn hall of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, in order to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the restoration and consecration of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. The rebirth of the main church of our Fatherland is indeed a testimony of God's mercy to us Orthodox people who have experienced the heaviest pressure from the atheist regime, the impact of which was incomparable with any persecution of ancient times."
"Many who built the temple have already gone to another world. But once again, I would like to mention the special role of Yuri Mikhailovich Luzhkov. Without the principled decision that he made, without the courage with which he repelled all attempts to prevent or suspend construction, the temple probably would not have been built. I propose to honor the memory of Yuri Mikhailovich," said the Primate. The "Eternal memory" of Yuri Luzhkov was proclaimed. 
His Holiness expressed special words of gratitude to V.I. Resin, who was present at the evening. "I know that Vladimir Iosifovich regarded the restoration of the temple as an exceptional and perhaps the most important event in his life. May the beauty and grandeur of this church be a monument to you, dear Vladimir Iosifovich," His Holiness Patriarch Kirill added.
The concert was attended by the L.G. Zykina Rossiya Large Concert Orchestra led by Dmitry Dmitrienko, Honored Artist of Russia, the Moscow Synodal Choir led by Alexey Puzakov, Honored Artist of Russia, the Choral Chapel of the Russian University of Transport (MIIT) led by Konstantin Kostrikov, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, and the Bells of Russia Bell Music Ensemble." under the direction of Galina Filimonova, the Patriarchal Choir of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior under the direction of Ilya Tolkachev, the Largo art group, etc.
At the end of the concert, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill expressed gratitude to the organizers of the evening and the performers who performed.: "I would like to sincerely thank all the organizers of this evening and all the performers. Our meeting was held on a very high artistic and emotional level. If art had always had a spiritual dimension, if knowledge had always been combined with faith, humanity would be completely different. There would be no wars, there would be no family strife, children would not abandon their parents, and parents would not abandon their children. We must realize that our happiness and well-being, whether in our personal, family, public or state life, primarily depends on what is in our hearts, how clear our conscience is, and how we can relate our faith and beliefs to the practice of life. God grant that such performances as today's will help people discover the spiritual world, which in the language of the Church is called salvation. I cordially congratulate all of you and thank you for participating in today's celebration."
The concert program featured works by P.I. Tchaikovsky, A.A. Alyabyev, A.N. Pakhmutova and other classical and modern composers.
