On April 12, the Patriarchal Exarch of Africa, Metropolitan Konstantin of Zaraisk, visited the parish of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in the village of Makandi (Tayolo district) in Malawi. The bishop was accompanied by the chairman of the Missionary Department of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa, Priest Georgy Maksimov, and the personal secretary of Metropolitan Konstantin V.V. Dendyuk.
Vladyka was greeted by the rector of the parish, Priest Ermolai Mwananchi, and the faithful of the community.
Metropolitan Constantine performed a prayer service to the first apostles, after which he addressed the parishioners with an archpastoral address, the website of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa reports.
At the end of the service, Vladyka handed over to the parish an icon of the Savior, a censer, and also presented memorable gifts to all those present.
