From May 17 to 27, 2024, the Hawaiian Myrrh-streaming Iveron Icon of the Mother of God, a revered shrine of the Russian Church Abroad, was welcomed in the Orthodox parishes of Australia. The offering of the shrine took place with the blessing of Bishop George of Sydney and Australia-New Zealand. The route of the image's journey through the country included, in addition to Russian parishes, also churches of the Serbian and Macedonian Orthodox Churches.
On May 25, in the Holy Trinity Parish of the Moscow Patriarchate in Melbourne, the clergy of the parish celebrated the akathist of the Mother of God in front of the myrrh-streaming icon. Dozens of parishioners were able to pray in front of the shrine and venerate it.

The miraculous Iverian Hawaiian Myrrh-streaming icon of the Mother of God began inexplicably to exude myrrh in the house of pious Orthodox spouses in Honolulu, Hawaii, September 23 / October 6, 2007. This phenomenon was recognized as genuine and miraculous by the Bishops' Council of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad. This image is known for healing many pious people from cancer, blindness, kidney and liver diseases, chronic pain and demonic possession. Currently, the icon resides in the Russian Orthodox Church in Honolulu, but often travels around the world and grants healing of souls and bodies to all who show faith and love for our Lord Jesus Christ and His Most Pure Mother.
