One of the main events in the life of the Chelyabinsk Metropolia of the Russian Orthodox Church in the past year was the glorification of the Holy Martyr Vasily Nosov in the face of saints. In the 20s of the last century, the priest served in the Miass. Father Vasily did not want to betray faith in Christ and was sentenced to death by the Soviet authorities. In commemoration of the feat of the saint of God and in memory of the holy land of Miass, it was decided to build a temple in honor of the holy martyr.

A new house of God will be erected in Miass on the site where a temporary dilapidated and unsuitable prayer room, which was once built in the former post office building, is now located. With the construction of the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the need for a temporary prayer room disappeared. Therefore, the construction of a magnificent temple has long been planned on this territory belonging to the Chelyabinsk diocese, and work on project documentation has been underway for several years.
