A summer school for learning the Russian language is opening in the Montenegrin city of Nikšić. The classes will be free for everyone interested, as reported by the Telegram channel of the Russian House in Belgrade.
The summer school of the Russian language is organized jointly by the Russian House in Belgrade, the Russian Humanitarian Mission, and the Budimlja-Nikšić Eparchy of the Serbian Orthodox Church. The opening ceremony took place on July 31, led by the Russian ambassador to Montenegro, Vladislav Maslenikov, marking his final official event in the country before his departure.
Ambassador Maslenikov expressed his joy about the opening of the school and highlighted the personal significance of this event. Pavel Bushuev, advisor to the director of the Russian House, emphasized the growing interest in the Russian language in Montenegro and thanked the partners for their support. He noted that the popularity of the Russian language is connected to its history and Russia's cultural heritage.
Nadezhda Kondrat, a Russian language teacher, spoke about the course's methods and objectives, while Velimir Kasalica, elder of the cultural society "St. Alexander Nevsky," also addressed the attendees. The event saw participation from representatives of public organizations and the residents of Nikšić.
The intensive course will last for three weeks, from July 31 to August 20. Participants will study the Russian language using an immersion methodology, which allows for rapid development of language skills, enabling students to progress from basic words to fluent language use in 21 days. The summer school is free and open to all interested individuals.
