The sixth Orthodox youth hockey tournament on felt boots with a ball for the Cup of the Yekaterinburg branch of the Imperial Orthodox Palestinian Society, dedicated to Orthodox Youth Day, was held on February 3, 2025 in the village of Taiga near Nizhny Tura. 
Almost 150 young valenki hockey fans from Lesnoy, Nizhny Tagil, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoturinsk, Nizhnyaya Tura, Kachkanar, Verkhnyaya Tura, Nevyansk, Krasnouralsk and the village of Taiga took part in the battle with sticks. 18 teams from the Nizhny Tagil, Yekaterinburg and Serov dioceses met on the field.
The Neiva team from Nevyansk became the champions of the senior league, the Phoenix youth fraternity team from Kachkanar came in second place, and the Khristofor team from Krasnoturinsk came in third.
In the junior league, the Cup went to the team of the church of the Holy Prince Alexander Nevsky in the city of Verkhnyaya Tura, the second place went to the team of the church of the Blessed Matrona of the Moscow Forest, and the debutants of the tournament came in third – the team of school No. 8 in the village of Taiga.
The winners were awarded Cups of the Imperial Orthodox Palestinian Society, medals and diplomas. All participants received certificates.
The permanent project leader is Priest Alexy Zanozin, rector of the Church of the Blessed Matrona of Moscow in the city of Lesnoy. The spiritual father of the project is Priest Pavel Kozlov, head of the Youth Department of the Nizhny Tagil Diocese.
The aim of the tournament for the Cup of the Imperial Orthodox Palestinian Society is to unite Orthodox youth, attract them to closer cooperation based on spiritual and moral education and a healthy lifestyle; strengthen cooperation between the dioceses of the Yekaterinburg Archdiocese; strive for the widespread creation of Orthodox youth organizations, fraternities, including the Brotherhood of Orthodox Pathfinders. The objectives of the tournament were to educate young people in the spirit of the Orthodox faith as the norm of life, to teach Orthodox youth hockey on felt boots with a ball, to get acquainted with the sports traditions of the reign of the House of Romanov, to instill norms of an active and healthy lifestyle, and to develop physical and environmental skills.
