On September 15, 2024, a Divine Liturgy was celebrated at St. Sergius of Radonezh Parish in Kiambogo, Nyeri Deanery, Kenya, in honor of the Feast of the Translation of the Relics of Saints Peter and Fevronia of Murom.

The Liturgy was co-officiated by four priests: Fr. Paisios Kimayo, Fr. Eleutherios Kerich, Fr. Jacob Ngatia, and Fr. Thaddeus Wachira. Parishioners from four churches – St. Theodosius of Chernigov, St. Demetrius the Great Martyr, the Exaltation of the Cross, and St. Sergius – gathered together to strengthen inter-parish cooperation within the deanery.

Following the service, clergy and laity continued their fellowship over a shared meal, discussing key issues related to the development of church life. "This gathering was a great opportunity to support inter-parish cooperation," said Fr. Paisios. "We are combining efforts to advance the spiritual life in our deanery."

Earlier this year, the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa helped St. Theodosius Parish in Sipili, where Fr. Paisios serves, acquire a tent for services, as the community has no permanent church building. Despite their challenges, the parish has remained active in charitable activities, including organizing meals for children from local herding communities.
