The International Old Believers Forum is set to take place in Moscow on December 7th, featuring key representatives of the Old Believer community from Russia, Belarus, Moldova, and other countries, as reported by RIA Novosti.
The event, organized by the Russian Orthodox Old Believer Church, the Ancient Orthodox Pomor Church, and the Ancient Orthodox Old Pomor Church of the Fedoseev Agreement, will be held at the Russian State Library's Pashkov House.
Participants at the forum will include leaders and representatives from Old Believer churches, as well as individuals from governmental, scientific, social, and religious organizations from around the world. The agenda will address current topics related to the interaction between Old Believers and state or public institutions.
The Old Believers, known for their adherence to traditional rituals and practices, will have an opportunity to express their views on pertinent issues during the forum. The event aims to foster dialogue and understanding between Old Believer communities and various societal institutions.
