On the territory of the temple complex in honor of the Holy Great Martyr and healer Panteleimon in Nizhny Novgorod on April 17, a volunteer environmental clean-up day "Clean City" was held.
Students of the Nizhny Novgorod State Agrotechnological University came to put the temple territory in order. A total of 16 people participated.
Under the guidance of the cleric of the church in honor of the Holy Prince Vladimir, Equal to the Apostles, located on the territory of the Prioksky deanery of the Nizhny Novgorod diocese, Priest Vladimir Panin, students collected garbage, swept paths, washed windows and doors of the church.
Before starting work, the priest blessed the children for help and told them about the importance of their work: "Your help in cleaning the temple grounds is necessary. After all, the temple is the house of God, so everything you do is for God. The Lord does not forget good deeds." After cleaning, the students gathered in the refectory for tea.
