A 35-year-old native of the Sverdlovsk region attacked two servants of the church of St. Sergius of Podolsk in Klimovsk, Mash reports.
The man broke into the church, and then began to threaten the employees of the church shop. He tore off a handkerchief from one of them, and also took about 3 thousand rubles from the donation box.
After that, the attacker went on a rampage. He broke the glass on the icon and tore up posters with images of temples and saints.
The man also grabbed a stick and beat the church attendants with it. Among them, the man beat the women on the head, after which he disappeared. The cameras recorded everything that was happening.
The inadequate man was detained in hot pursuit. The attacker of the temple is 35—year-old Oleg T. from the Sverdlovsk region. He had previously been convicted under the article "Threat to kill or cause serious harm to health."
