Another volunteer construction team, which was attended by African seminarians, was held in the village of Glebovo, Taldomsky district, Moscow region.
Five students from St. Petersburg Theological Academy, Tomsk and Penza Theological Seminaries from Kenya, Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of the Congo took part in the trip. "Russian-Chinese cultural center "Zhar-ptitsa" organized the construction team.
The program began with an excursion to Dmitrov, where participants visited the local Kremlin and the house museum of the Holy Martyr Seraphim Zvezdinsky.
At the very beginning of the shift, the volunteers joined the procession on the memorial day of the Prophet of God Elijah, during which the village wells were consecrated.
During the shift, the participants completely painted the walls of the first floor of the parish house of the Epiphany Church in Glebovo and helped in the preparation for the "Glebovsky Dawns" festival: The grass was mowed and the ground was leveled in front of the stage.
Then the children took part in the festival, and also visited the historical and literary museum of Taldom.
