On October 21, 2026, the VII International Charity Festival "Your Talents are so needed by the Planet" was held in the Cathedral Hall of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Children from Donbass, Transbaikalia, Kursk region and Belarus performed on the same stage, including children with disabilities and children from orphanages, as well as famous Russian artists.
The organizers of the festival were the charitable foundation of actress Evgenia Korotkevich and the Patriarchal Humanitarian Mission. The meeting was hosted by Priest Pavel Ostrovsky, Tutta Larsen and Dmitry Khrustalev. Valery Barinov, Diana Gurtskaya, Ksenia Alferova and other artists participated in the concert. The Moscow Synodal Choir performed before the opening.
The Patriarchal Humanitarian Mission organized the arrival of 60 children from Donbass to Moscow. Among them are children from Khartsyzsk, many of whom have special developmental needs. The trip allowed the children to get acquainted with the capital, present their creative performances to a large audience and communicate with professional artists.
"We are giving children not just a holiday, but a fulcrum, a powerful impetus for further life," said Evgenia Korotkevich. According to the organizers, joint performances help to reveal children's talents and give participants an experience of support and recognition.
Between the concert performances, the actors and presenters read stories about the work of the Patriarchal Humanitarian Mission volunteers: helping in hospitals, supporting lonely people, and rebuilding destroyed homes in Donbas.
The festival originated in Minsk and has been held at venues in Russia and Belarus over the years. His task is to draw attention to the talents of children and help them receive creative, educational and rehabilitation support.
