Dear brothers and sisters,
I was deeply saddened by the news of the tragic events in Bryansk, where civilians were killed and injured as a result of a missile strike.
Such actions directed against the civilian population are evidence of the cruelty and inhumanity of their customers and perpetrators.
Sharing the pain of loss with all those who lost their loved ones, I offer prayers to God for the repose of the souls of the innocently murdered and for the speedy recovery of the wounded.
I hope that the regional authorities will provide the necessary support to the families of the victims, as well as to all those affected. Representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church, for their part, are ready to spiritually comfort people who are in particular need of sympathy and human participation today.
May the merciful Lord give rest to the souls of those slain in the villages of heaven and grant strength of spirit to all those who are grieving today.

The news of another attack by the Kiev regime, a missile strike on Bryansk, as a result of which many civilians were killed and injured, caused pain in my heart. I am deeply amazed by the meanness and treachery of the crime committed.
I ask you to convey my words of sympathy to those affected by this grief. I am convinced that the clergy and volunteers of the Bryansk Diocese will provide them with the necessary support. I call on everyone to pray fervently for the repose of the innocently killed and the recovery of the wounded.
May the merciful Lord embrace the souls of the newly deceased in His Fatherly Embrace, grant speedy healing to the injured, comfort and strengthen their relatives, and send strength and courage to those who lost their loved ones in this tragedy.
