On September 3, the dean of the Navlinsky church district, rector of the church in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in the village of Navlya and head of the Coordination Center for Assistance to Servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Priest Timofey Uchvatov, visited the Navlinsky Association of "silver" volunteers "Energy of Good!" and consecrated a batch of camouflage nets before being sent to the special military operation zone.
The clergyman performed a prayer chant for the cessation of internecine warfare and read a prayer for Holy Russia.
At the end of the prayer service, Father Timofey addressed the volunteer staff with a pastoral speech in which he thanked all those who work for a common victory. All participants in this process put their soul and love into every connected network, making their contribution to saving the lives of our defenders.

The calling of the future Primate to episcopal ministry was formally established by a resolution of the Holy Synod in early March 1976; on the eve of the consecration, the rite of nomination took place, and on March 14—on the Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy—at the Holy Trinity Cathedral of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra, Archimandrite Kirill (Gundyaev), rector of the Leningrad theological schools, was consecrated Bishop of Vyborg.

Exactly 50 years ago, on March 13, 1976, at the Church of the Holy Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian at the Leningrad Theological Academy, the rite of nomination took place; and on the following day, March 14, the First Sunday of Great Lent, the Feast of the Triumph of Orthodoxy, during the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Trinity Cathedral of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra in Leningrad, the episcopal consecration of Archimandrite Kirill — the future Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’ — was performed. The service was presided over by the ever-memorable Metropolitan Nikodim (Rotov), whom His Holiness Patriarch Kirill calls his spiritual mentor and teacher.
