From September 23 to September 30, 2026 in the city of Volzhsky, Volgograd region, the exhibition and forum "Joy of the Word" will be held. The event will take place with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia at the same time as the Orthodox exhibition-fair "Volga Orthodox", organized with the blessing of Bishop John of Kalachevo and Pallasovo.
"Russian Orthodox Church Publishing Council", the Kalachevo Diocese and the Volgogradexpo exhibition Center with the support of the administration of the city of Volzhsky are the organizers.
One of the central events will be the bringing from the Kaluga Diocese of the ark with a fragment of the relics of St. Philaret of Moscow. Prayer services will be held in front of the shrine during all the days of the exhibition.
Visitors will be able to get acquainted with Orthodox, spiritual, moral, educational, children's, artistic and journalistic literature. As part of the spiritual and educational program, a presentation of new books from the collection of works of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill will take place.
Monasteries and temples from different regions of Russia will take part in the fair. Their stands will feature icons, church utensils, Orthodox souvenirs, jewelry with Christian symbols and other goods.
The forum""s program will also include a meeting with the writer, nominee of the Patriarchal Literary Award named after Saints Cyril and Methodius, Archpriest Artemiy Vladimirovich, a concert "I give you a bouquet of poems" Natalia Kopeikina and the work of the stand "Soulful conversations". Here, visitors will be able to communicate with the clergy and ask them questions.
