With the blessing of Metropolitan Theodosius of Tambov and Rasskazovsky, on August 5, 2026, the clergy of the Diocesan Center of the Tambov Diocese for Pastoral Care, Spiritual and Social Support for veterans/participants of their military operations and their family members began duty at the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation branch.
On the first day, Archpriest Vladimir Sergunin met with the members of the Warmth of My Mother's Hands club, who came to a master class on cooking cutlets. Before the start of the culinary research, the mothers of the dead soldiers asked the priest dozens of thematic questions.
"I am glad to be useful for a good cause. If earlier we invited the participants of our Church and their relatives to the Diocesan Relief Center at the Trinity Church in Tambov, now, in cooperation with the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, we have a new platform for spiritual meetings with Orthodox believers who find themselves in a difficult life situation," said Archpriest Vladimir Sergunin.
