The cemetery church of St. Onufry the Great of the Transfiguration of the Solovetsky Stavropol Monastery will be restored by 2029 at the expense of charitable funds from Russian Railways. The church was destroyed in the late 1930s, leaving only the foundation.
A project for the restoration and restoration of the church is currently being developed. It fully corresponds to the materials of the original historical appearance, as well as historical and bibliographic information and photographs.
In order to preserve the preserved boulder masonry of the foundation and prevent further destruction, the first stage has been identified as part of the development of the design documentation — priority conservation work, including strengthening the foundation and repairing the temporary roof. The work will begin in the near future.
These events will make it possible to preserve the expositional appearance of the boulder masonry and restore the historical appearance of the church during the main restoration work, which will begin next year.

The church in the name of St. Onufry the Great appeared in the churchyard in 1666. Until 1822, it was made of wood, then it was rebuilt in stone, consecrating a new church in 1824. In 1886, a bell tower and a stone porch were added to the church. During the camp, it was the only functioning church on Solovki.
