On August 27, 2026, the traditional August forum of teachers of the Moscow region was held at the Government House of the Moscow Region in Krasnogorsk.
The event was attended by the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation S.S. Kravtsov, the Governor of the Moscow region A.Y. Vorobyov, Chairman of the Board of Sberbank G.O. Gref, Patriarchal Vicar of the Moscow Metropolitanate, Metropolitan Pavel of Krutitsky and Kolomna, Archbishop Thomas of Odintsovo and Krasnogorsk, Archbishop Axius of Podolsk and Lyubertsy, Bishop Nikolai of Balashikha and Orekhovo-Zuyevsky, Chairman of the inter-diocesan Department for the coordination of spiritual, educational and educational activities, Archpriest Sergiy Yakimov, heads of municipal educational authorities, directors and teachers of educational organizations of the Moscow region.
The audience was greeted by the Governor of the Moscow region, A.Y. Vorobyov. The head of the Moscow region summed up the work of educational organizations in the region and spoke about the introduction of digital technologies and artificial intelligence into the educational process.
The Governor of the Moscow region awarded the diplomas "Leader of Education" to representatives of the three best schools in the Moscow region. The first place was taken by Lyceum No. 23 of Podolsk city district, the second — gymnasium No. 41 of Lyubertsy city district, the third — Lyceum named after Hero of the Soviet Union P.V. Streltsov of Voskresensk city district.
Diplomas "Flagship of Education of the Moscow region in 2026" were also awarded. The awards were given to the E.M. Primakov Gymnasium of the Odintsovo City District and the P.L. Kapitsa Physics and Technology Lyceum in Dolgoprudny.
The best private schools in the Moscow region were singled out separately. The first place was taken by the New Chernogolovskaya School, the second by the Rostock school of the Orekhovo—Zuyevsky city district, and the third by the Orthodox school of the Christmas of the Istra municipal district.
Metropolitan Pavel also addressed the guests of the forum. Noting the importance of the development of science and modern technologies, the bishop emphasized the special importance of spiritual and moral values in the upbringing and development of the younger generation.
The speeches of S.S. Kravtsov and G.O. Gref became an important event of the forum.
