On June 6, 2026, the XXXII reporting and election circle of the Central Cossack Army took place in Naro-Fominsk near Moscow. The event was blessed by Metropolitan Kirill of Stavropol and Nevinnomyssk, Chairman of the Synodal Committee for Cooperation with the Cossacks, Chairman of the Synodal Department for Cooperation with the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies.
He delivered a pastoral address to the participants of the Circle, thanked the outgoing chieftain Ivan Mironov for his many years of work and gave a farewell address to the audience.: "The hardest events that visit our people, which the whole country has to go through, only make weak people weaker when they become discouraged, even desperate. But these difficult circumstances only harden strong people. But it is not enough to be able to swing a saber and bravely sit on a horse, it is not enough to be an excellent accurate gunner or a combat pilot, or a skilled infantryman. The power of the spirit has always been the only one that gave victory to the country on the battlefields when the enemy came."
Gennady Sidorin, First Deputy (comrade) ataman of the Central Cossack Army, made a report on the state of the army.
According to the results of the voting, Andrei Fadyukhin, deputy ataman of the All-Russian Cossack Society, three-time knight of the Order of Courage, was unanimously elected ataman of the Central Cossack Army. In his speech, the newly elected chieftain outlined the priorities of the upcoming work: support for the Cossacks on the front line, the development of a mobilization reserve, cooperation with the 4th Guards tank Kantemirovskaya Division and the formation of the volunteer detachment BARS "Moscow" to counter enemy drones. "Today, the line of combat contact must pass through the heart of every Cossack,— Andrei Fadyukhin emphasized. "Each of us must fight our battles in the place where we are, fulfilling our sacred duty."
Metropolitan Kirill presented the newly elected chieftain with an icon of St. George the Victorious, the patron saint of the Central Cossack Army. In the final Round, the ataman of the All-Russian Cossack Society, Vitaly Kuznetsov, awarded the Cossacks who distinguished themselves in their service.
