According to the message ria.ru The Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) has introduced the mobile application "Help for Homeless People", which contains contacts of verified relevant organizations (Orthodox, state, public) in all regions of the country. The application, available in stores and on the Help the Homeless RF website, uses geolocation to quickly find the nearest help.
In addition, there is a church social assistance hotline at 8 800 70 70 222, where you can contact if a person is seen freezing. The Russian Orthodox Church stressed that there are 136 shelters, 52 mercy buses and 43 heating points throughout Russia. Many temples also provide assistance by providing food and warm clothing.
