The dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church continue to hold the All-Russian prayer service for Victory in parallel with the bringing of the relics of the Great Martyr George the Victorious. The ark with the relics of the Great Martyr from the Holy Trinity Sergius Lavra has already been brought to more than 80 Russian cities. Over 600 thousand believers were able to venerate the relics of the great saint of God.
With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, on May 6, 2023, after the Patriarchal Divine Service in St. George's Church on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow, the All-Russian prayer service for Victory with the bringing of the relics of the Great Martyr George the Victorious in the diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church started.
Russian Russian Orthodox Church Commission for the Development of Pilgrimage and the Offering of Shrines is carrying out the offering of the relics of the Great Martyr George the Victorious with the assistance of the leadership of the regions of Russia, organizational support of the World Russian People's Council and the general information partnership of the Tsargrad TV channel.
The shrine visited the Central Region, the Urals, Siberia and the Far East, the northern and southern regions of Russia, as well as dioceses in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions; according to the planned route, 15 more cities are to be visited.
