On June 10, 2026, in Tashkent, in the Spiritual and Administrative Center of the Tashkent Diocese, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, a round table "Practical fulfillment of monastic vows in modern conditions" was held.
The meeting, chaired by Metropolitan Vikenty of Tashkent and Uzbekistan, was attended by Metropolitan Feodosiy of Samara and Novokuibyshev, interim governor of the Dushanbe Diocese, clergy and monastics of the Central Asian Metropolitan District, and parishioners of churches in Tashkent.
After Metropolitan Vincent's welcoming speech, presentations were made by:
 Abbess of the Holy Trinity-Nikolsky Convent in Tashkent, Abbess Ekaterina (Malgina) — "Digital shutter: a vow of obedience and information hygiene in the age of the Internet";
 Abbess of the Pokrovsky Convent in Dustobada, Abbess Eugenia (Orymbetova) — "Monastic non-possessiveness in a communal society";
• Abbot Nektary (Blinov), Abbot of St. George Monastery in Chirchik, "The vow of chastity and the challenges of modern culture: from physical purity to the preservation of feelings."
Following the discussion of the submitted reports, a final resolution was adopted.
On the same day, the IX International Scientific and Educational Readings "The Spiritual Heritage and contribution to medicine of St. Luke (Voino-Yasenetsky)" were held in the conference hall of the diocesan Spiritual and Administrative Center. The event, organized with the blessing of the head of the Central Asian Metropolitan District, was dedicated to the 155th anniversary of the Turkestan Diocese and the 65th anniversary of the repose of St. Luke.
In his welcoming speech, Metropolitan Vincent briefly spoke about the labors and exploits of St. Luke of Crimea, drawing attention to the fact that he began his confessional career in Tashkent, accepting the priesthood here and then heading the Turkestan diocese. His Eminence drew attention to the fact that, as a surgeon, St. Luke miraculously helps in our time to perform operations on patients who need his help. Metropolitan Vikenty also reminded the audience that it was in Tashkent that St. Luke's main scientific work "Essays on Purulent Surgery" was written, for which he was awarded the Stalin Prize in 1946.
Presentations were made by clerics of the Tashkent Diocese, teachers of the Tashkent Theological Seminary, representatives of the Tashkent Medical Academy, the Medical Library of Tashkent and the creative intelligentsia.
Metropolitan Vincent presented commemorative certificates of appreciation to people who to this day contribute to the development of medical science and to the popularization of the name of St. Luke of the Crimea.
