A meeting was held at the Vladimir Regional Scientific Library with Vladimir Romanovich Legoyda, Chairman of the Synodal Department for Church Relations with Society and the Media.
The event gathered more than 100 listeners. Among the participants were clergy, journalists, editors, authors and administrators of Internet projects, social media specialists, creators of media content, as well as residents and guests of Vladimir.
During the meeting, topical issues of interaction between the Church, society and the modern media environment, the role of Orthodox media in the information space, the importance of books and the prospects of print media in the digital age were discussed.
Vladimir Romanovich shared his life and professional experience, told about the history of the creation of the magazine "Thomas", its formation and development. The meeting was held in the format of a lively and open dialogue: the participants were able to ask the guest their questions and discuss the most significant topics of modern social and church life.
