On September 26, the relics of the Trimifunt hierarch were taken to the Assumption Cathedral in Astana, where Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan led the festive service.
On the same day, the head of the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District, hierarchs and representatives of the Kerkyra Metropolitanate of the Greek Orthodox Church, accompanying the relics of St. Spyridon, met with the Vice-Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, R.A. Ali.
Also during his visit to the capital, Bishop Alexander performed divine services on the two-hundredth feast of the World Exaltation of the Holy and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord in the main temple of Kazakhstan, met with Akim of Astana J.K. Kasymbek and performed the rite of consecration of the dome for the Church of All Saints who shone forth in the land of Kazakhstan.
On September 28, in the morning, after the final prayer service, the great shrine of Orthodoxy left the metropolis.
