The volunteers of the Orthodox relief service "White Sails" continue regular meetings with the wards of the Darkovichi boarding school within the framework of the project "Reliable Harbor: school of caring for those who care" in the Bryansk region.
One of the most favorite communication formats has become joint culinary meetings. This time, the volunteers and the wards cooked homemade shawarma together. Everyone was able to contribute to the common cause: chop vegetables, prepare the filling, wrap pita bread or help a neighbor.
Cooking together became an occasion not only to master a new recipe, but also to spend time in a warm and friendly atmosphere. There was a lot of conversation, laughter, and discussion of news and plans. Such meetings help to build trust, give joy to communication and remind how important it is to be close to each other.
The Orthodox Relief Service "White Sails" thanks the volunteers who find the time and energy for this service, as well as the staff and wards of the Darkovichi Boarding School for their invariably warm welcome and sincere joy at each new meeting.
The Reliable Harbor project is being implemented with the support of the international grant competition "Orthodox Initiative – 2026", conducted by the Sorabotnichestvo Foundation.
