The annual Royal Days commemorations honoring the Holy Royal Martyrs became the week's central event in Yekaterinburg. Around 44,000 pilgrims from Russia and abroad participated in a night Divine Liturgy at the Church on the Blood followed by a 21-kilometer cross procession to the Monastery at Ganina Yama. Hierarchs of the Russian Orthodox Church and representatives of several Local Orthodox Churches took part in the celebrations. For the first time, the Orthodox television channel Spas broadcast a six-hour live telethon connecting Moscow and Yekaterinburg. The program also featured the 8th Children's Sailing Regatta in memory of Tsarevich Alexei, bringing together more than 200 young athletes.

Patriarch Kirill visited Valaam Monastery and St. Petersburg during the week. On Valaam, he venerated the monastery's shrines, performed the lesser consecration of the restored Church of the Life-Giving Spring Icon of the Mother of God, and described the revival of the monastery as one of modern Russia's important spiritual symbols. In St. Petersburg, he celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral on the Feast of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul before visiting Alexander Nevsky Lavra and Bolsheokhtinskoye Cemetery, where he offered memorial prayers at the graves of his spiritual mentor, Metropolitan Nikodim, his parents, and other family members.

Orthodox humanitarian efforts continued in regions affected by the ongoing war. Military chaplains of the Crimean Metropolis visited military units and field hospitals, celebrated services, heard confessions, distributed Holy Communion, and delivered humanitarian supplies, including a vehicle, drinking water, anti-drone blankets, and camouflage nets. The Oryol Diocese also sent aid to military personnel.

Meanwhile, the Patriarchal Humanitarian Mission dispatched five additional vehicles to Donetsk, Horlivka, Skadovsk, and Tokmak to support civilian relief efforts and housing repair teams. Training seminars on hospital and military chaplaincy were held in Stavropol and Krasnodar, bringing together clergy, nurses, and volunteers to share experience in caring for wounded soldiers, hospital patients, and civilians living near the front lines.

Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem appealed to U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee to support the creation of a humanitarian medical corridor allowing cancer patients, including children, to be evacuated from Gaza to Augusta Victoria Hospital in East Jerusalem. He emphasized that medical care for seriously ill patients should remain above political disagreements.

The appeal comes as Gaza's healthcare system continues to face severe disruption, with many hospitals and specialized departments unable to operate. International humanitarian organizations and the World Health Organization have repeatedly warned that medical evacuations remain too slow, leaving many critically ill patients waiting months for treatment.

Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia participated in a voluntary blood donation campaign following the festive Divine Liturgy at the Church of Saint Sava in Belgrade. Organized jointly by the Serbian Orthodox Church and Serbia's Institute for Blood Transfusion, the initiative established donation centers in six churches across the Belgrade-Karlovci Archdiocese. Within four hours, 166 people participated, with 142 successfully donating blood. Church leaders highlighted the importance of replenishing blood supplies during the summer, when donations typically decline despite continued medical demand.

The Estonian Christian Orthodox Church filed an appeal with Estonia's Supreme Court challenging the termination of the lease for the building housing the metropolitan's administrative offices in central Tallinn. The offices will continue operating at their current location while the appeal is under review.

The dispute follows amendments to Estonia's Churches and Congregations Act requiring religious organizations to reassess their relationships with foreign religious centers. Church leaders argue that the law does not explicitly require severing canonical ties with the Moscow Patriarchate and expect the matter to continue through the courts.

Thousands of pilgrims gathered in Zugdidi to celebrate Vlakhernoba, one of Georgia's most beloved church feasts, honoring the Robe of the Most Holy Theotokos, one of the Georgian Orthodox Church's greatest relics.

The festive Divine Liturgy was led by Catholicos-Patriarch Shio III of Georgia, who reminded the faithful that holy relics bear spiritual fruit only for those who approach them with faith, repentance, and a sincere desire to live according to the Gospel. He called on believers to seek inner purification and pray for stronger faith, peace, and unity.

In Lebanon, Patriarch John X of Antioch consecrated the first icon of Saint Dahma and her two martyred daughters, who suffered for Christ during the persecutions in Najran in the sixth century. The icon, painted by the nuns of the Monastery of Saint James the Persian, was presented to the Baghdad, Kuwait, and Arabian Metropolis. The event marks an important step in reviving the veneration of early Eastern Christian martyrs within the Antiochian Orthodox Church.
