With the blessing of Metropolitan Tikhon of Simferopol and Crimea, rector of St. Nicholas Cathedral, the clergy of the church took part in a charity event to donate blood.
Priests do not stay away from the needs of the defenders of the Fatherland. Today, their service to their neighbor has been expressed not only in prayer, but also in a specific physical action — blood donation, which is vital for participants in a special military operation undergoing treatment.
"Being a Christian means being ready to give your neighbor not only time and effort, but also a part of yourself. Today, our blood is the hope for life and recovery for those who shed their blood for us."
We thank all the clergy for their courage and mercy. May the Lord strengthen the strength of all those who are serving at the front and in hospitals today.
