Priests of the military department of the Crimean Archdiocese delivered and handed over to one of the military units a 2014 off-road UAZ "Bukhanka" vehicle.
The car was purchased in the Simferopol region and was used in an apiary. Before the transfer, the car was serviced, some pipe and belt replacements were carried out, and the clutch was repaired.
Funds for the purchase of the car were raised by the church of the Prophet Elijah in Saki and the Orthodox parishes of the Saki deanery. Cars at the front are extremely necessary. It is with such vehicles that the evacuation of the wounded, the delivery of personnel, provisions and water, building materials and much more are organized.
On behalf of the command and personnel, we would like to express our gratitude to Archpriest John Pristinsky, rector of St. Elijah's Church in Saki, dean of the Saki church district, secretary of the Simferopol and Crimean diocese, to all the rectors of the temples of the Saki deanery, the faithful, and to all those who take part in helping our soldiers. Special thanks to Father John Grushitsky for the technical training and transportation of the car.
Against the background of constant UAV attacks, the Simferopol-Armyansk highway poses a serious threat to traffic participants in some areas. From Krasnoperekopsk to Armyansk, there are a huge number of burned trucks, trucks for various purposes, and even two burning grain trucks.
