The grand opening of the interregional forest gathering of Orthodox pathfinders "Principalities-2026" took place on the shore of Lake Uvildy, bringing together 230 participants from four regional branches of the brotherhood of the Ural Federal District. The main theme of the shift is the unity of the peoples of Russia.
One of the spectacular traditions was the flag-raising ceremony at the mast, which is guarded around the clock by a guard of honor.
On the first day of the rally, the participants set up a hiking camp and, of course, had time to swim in the warm waters of Lake Uvildy.
Over the course of ten days, the students will have to consolidate in practice the theoretical knowledge gained during the year in their squads. The program includes more than 20 areas: from first aid, tourism, history and rules of survival to the basics of Orthodoxy, archeology and sports. Special attention is paid to education in the Orthodox faith and traditions: Participants attend services, study the spiritual foundations and follow the laws of Brotherhood.
The Brotherhood of Orthodox Pathfinders has been operating in Russia since 1991, and the Yekaterinburg Squad in the Middle Urals was established in 2009. The movement's activities are based on the spiritual, moral and patriotic education of the younger generation in the Christian faith.
