In the village of Gorokhovo in August 2026, more than 120 participants gathered at the church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God — active youth from 18 to 35 years old and young families. The main question that was discussed was: "What unites us? Faith, history and traditions of Russia".
The participants talked with priests and psychologists, listened to lectures about family and faith, learned how to provide first aid, learned about fire safety, talked about heroism and how to protect themselves on the Internet.
The first day began with an exciting task to get to know and rally the activists of the NGO "Orthodox Youth Center". The Cossacks of the farm "Spaso-Preobrazhenskoe" showed the children a program in which they showed their skills. Later, an equal dialogue took place between the young people and Archpriest Andrei Lebedev on the topic "Vyatka Saints: our patrons." The participants asked their questions and talked about how saints help in the modern world. The first day of the forum ended with conversations around the campfire with Hieromonk Alexander (Mitrofanov).
The second day started with an invigorating workout. A prayer service was held in the church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in the village of Gorokhovo, Yuryansky district. The forum was then opened. Within the framework of the forum, with the blessing of Metropolitan Mark of Vyatka and Sloboda, a litiya was celebrated for those who died as a result of the Kiev regime's attack on an enterprise in Kirov. The guys also participated in a minute of silence.
The second day was full of educational events. The leading speaker at this year's forum was Svetlana Borisovna Koroleva, Head of the international research laboratory "Fundamental and Applied Research on Aspects of Cultural Identification" at Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University. Russian Russian Literature: from Classical Texts to Modern Ones" and "Family in Russian Culture: from Folklore to Hagiographies and Classical Literature" by Dobrolyubova, Professor of the Department of Romano-Germanic Languages, Translation, Foreign Literature and Intercultural Communication.
After the educational part, the children had the opportunity to participate in master classes. Another unforgettable moment of the second day was the intellectual game "Faith in Questions", where the participants divided into teams and staged a real competition.
In the evening, the final lecture was held on the main topic "What unites us? Faith, History and Traditions of Russia", conducted by Archpriest Sergiy Endaltsev. The day ended with prayer in the temple and conversations around the campfire with Hieromonk Alexander (Mitrofanov).
The Orthodox youth began the morning of the third day with the Divine Liturgy in the church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. This was the highlight of the forum. It gave the event a special depth, uniting all participants in common prayer and a sense of belonging to eternal values.
The service was decorated with church chants performed by the local choir.
At the end of the forum, the children gathered again under the arches of the temple in order to perform a prayer service of thanksgiving.
At the closing of the forum, Archpriest Sergiy Endaltsev thanked the youth for participating in the forum, presented letters of thanks and memorable gifts to the children who actively participate in the events of the Orthodox Youth Center.
