The next meeting of the Chechelovsky District Court of Dnipro in the case of the vicar of the Svyatogorsk Lavra, Metropolitan Arseny of Svyatogorsk, was held on June 30, 2026.

On this day, the brothers of the Lavra and the sisters of the Lavra monasteries served a cathedral prayer service with the akathist to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. Believers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church came to the courtroom to support the bishop.

The defense party has repeatedly filed a complaint against the decision of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office to change the group of prosecutors, as it believes that this decision was adopted in violation of the law.

After listening to the defense and the prosecution, Judge Tatiana Vasilyevna Bezruk dismissed the complaint.

The next session of the Chechelovsky Court in the case of Vladyka Arseny is scheduled to take place on August 5. It will consider the issue of extending the preventive measure. The hearing starts at 13:00.
