In the Assumption Church of the village of Zavidovo there is a list of the ancient image of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God. Previously, the icon was located in the altar as a portable for religious processions. This image is considered especially revered in Zavidovo. In 1994, the icon was restored and found a new place in the temple — in the quadrangle of the summer church. 
The Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God is closely connected with the fate of our Fatherland and the veneration of its defenders. Many generations of Russian soldiers went to defend their homeland with this image. 
On the feast of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God, which the Orthodox Church celebrates on July 9, Divine Liturgy was celebrated in Zavidovo. For the holiday, the pupils of the summer Sunday school decorated the temple and the icon with flowers and ribbons. Together with the parishioners of the church, pupils of the Romashka school camp prayed at the divine service. 
In his sermon, Archpriest Peter Dubyago, rector of the Assumption Church in the village of Zavidovo, recalled the main historical and state milestones associated with the Tikhvin Icon, based on the materials of the exhibitions "Wanderings of the Icon" and "Return of the Icon", which were prepared in the temple for the memorable date.
After the service, everyone watched the documentary film "Tikhvin Icon. The Return" is about the dramatic story of the wanderings of an ancient shrine. Archpriest Peter Dubyago spoke about the temples and chapels in honor of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God on the territory of the Konakovo deanery. 
At Sunday school, students were offered to color the images of the Tikhvin Monastery of the Assumption of the Virgin. Before that, the children were told what the temples, the belfry and the gates of the monastery look like.
