Metropolitan Gabriel of Lovcana, accompanied by Bishop Michael of Constantia and a large group of pilgrims from outside the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, arrived in the Holy Land on April 22 and visited the Trinity Cathedral of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission.
The guests were warmly welcomed by Archimandrite Vassian (Zmeev), Head of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem, and Abbot Nikon (Golovko), Deputy Head of the Mission.
Metropolitan Gabriel gave a blessing to the pilgrims who arrived with him, wishing them all God's gracious help in making a worshipful journey through the holy places of Biblical and Evangelical Palestine.
Then the Bulgarian pilgrims visited the Russian Spiritual Mission, where they were offered Easter treats.
