From December 3 to December 4, 2025, the XXXI International Conference "The End of Globalism and the Future of the World – the Meanings and Values of the Coming Era", organized by the International Foundation for the Spiritual Unity of Peoples, was held in the Tunisian capital.
The event was led by the President of the Foundation, V.A. Alekseev, and the Patriarchal Exarch of Africa, Metropolitan Konstantin of Cairo and North Africa. The guest of honor was Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Serbia Jovan Janic.
Metropolitan Konstantin read out the greetings of Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, Chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate's Department for External Church Relations, and delivered a message.
The conference was attended by representatives of the Local Orthodox Churches, as well as the clergy of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa, the Middle East and Hungary, deputies of national parliaments, public and political figures, scientists and publicists.
Dozens of reports were presented during the two days of the conference. The participants noted the high importance of events aimed at strengthening the historical, cultural and spiritual unity of peoples, promoting moral and family values, educating young people and developing humanitarian cooperation.
